Cedarwood is part of our new nighttime ritual. Husband doesn’t love a lot of floral scents like lavender but we love that outdoorsy scent.
Surprisingly, cedarwood essential oil has antifungal, antiseptic, diuretic, astringent and sedative properties.
Giving cedarwood oil a good sniff helps the release of serotonin, which converts into melatonin in the brain. Melatonin induces restorative sleep and leaves you feeling calm.
A study on rats show that after inhaling cedarwood their body movements dramatically decreased even after caffeine consumption.

It smells amazing with the added sedative oils of lemongrass, orange, and my favorite hormone balancer clary sage. We will delve deeper into these oils soon! I promise!
So try out this blend, enjoy a peaceful night sleep.
It Also does a great job on the bottom of little feet after nightmares to help calm them down and promote happy feelings.
Sweet dreams!
